Summary:

In light of recent developments in the peaks model, where new non-local bias terms arised as a consequence of the rotational invariance of the 2-point correlation function of maxima of the density field, we try to measure these non-local bias factors in simulations and compare with a precise theoretical prediction. For this prediction we apply the excursion set approach to the peak model formalism and we add the complication of a moving barrier, which is thought to give a better prescription for identifying virialized halos. Results and their interpretation are presented, with a stress on the theoretical aspect of the problem.
